The Challenge
Freshways, a large family-run independent business, supplying milk group requirements for cost-effective support. Assisted various sites within the group to build initial system to pass audits, support new TM changeovers, provide an element of continuation, adapt systems to changing version of BRCGs standards, help with updates for supermarket audits, etc.
Our Solution
From initially starting with a small family-run dairy, Watsons Farms, in Hampshire, we set up systems for BRCGS Food issue 3. We have provided a whole range of support to initially Medina and then Freshways for their food compliance needs. We have supported the group through many changes and site developments and provided support at 5 separate sites. Our support has included coaching of teams, numerous internal audits, periodic technical management, gap analysis audits against changing issues of BRCGS Food and the development of food safety management systems from issue 3 to 9.
The Outcome
Our work has developed into a partnership that has helped ensure various sites in the group have supported systems, technical managers and teams to maintain their legal compliance and certification through a range of issues of BRCGS Food standards.
